Lately

Well... I have not been very faithful in my blogging. I somehow knew this would happen..I had only hoped it wouldn't...so I'm going to try to do better. We are all doing great. Sophie and Jack have had a rough go since Christmas, But Im hoping they'll be able to shake all this sickness soon. Jack will be 6 months on Sunday. This CANNOT be true. I thought it flew by with Sophie but it was like a flash this time. He has 2 teeth and is sitting up pretty well now. He is still so happy all the time...even sick. Sophie is so grown. I cried the other day when she came home from daycare with her preschool registration packet. I just can't believe she will be 3 this year. She is so sweet (most of the time). She is constantly singing and dancing and so smart. Motherhood has been the most amazing gift!

Last week was my 29th birthday. I didn't plan on doing very much. I took off work as usual...I never work on my birthday. I had planned on Jon and I having lunch at PF Changs..my fave. But that was it. So, I was shocked when my mother-in-law showed up unexpectedly(to me) that morning to keep the kids. Jon had planned an entire day of suprises for me ending with a suprise party at a place called "Spirited Art". It was So, So fun and I had a blast. Jon is the sweetest, most thoughtful husband ever and Im so grateful.
