I originally started this blog because I love reading others and thought it would serve as a jornal of our lives and the childrens growth. That is still my intention but I lost my way somehow. Now Im getting back on track.
Sophie is getting smarter everyday! She knows all of her letter, upper and lower, and their sounds and she is even reading some 3 and 4 letter words. She is so well spoken and uses her manners most of the time. She is so independent...Insisting to do think by herself often. She LOVES to color right now and is doing an excellent job of staying in the lines. We are still working on number recognition so we she can learn our phone number, etc. She loves her little brother SO much and begging for another baby..or two:)
Jack is changing everyday. He is a very steady walker now and is starting to give his sister a hard time:) He is so fascinated by her and wants to do everything she does. Everyday he adds new words to his vocabulary. Its so amazing how quickly they learn! This little boy lives to be outside. When we are inside he stands at the back door and cries,"outside, outside!" He is quite the daredevil. Yesterday I walked back into the living room, after being away maybe 10 seconds and he had the laundry basket flipped over and was standing on top of it! He also collects all of the outlet plugs and other babyproofing devices and proudly brings them to you:)
I have been working hard on finding at being consistent at a form of discipline and I feel like we are seeing progress. Sophie is reponding a lot more..in a positive way and being much more respectful and obedient. Jack is beginning to learn as well. He has had a handful of time-outs of the past couple weeks and is definitely learning.
